“The very popular U.S. Statehood Quarter Collection was initially offered in 1999, with five limited-strike coins issued per year. The Statehood Quarter Collection, upon completion in 2008, will consist of 50 commemorative coins with individual state designs. Most Mint customers order this collection as well, in order to own both commemorative sets! Each coin is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, untouched by hands, exactly as it came from the U.S. Mint. Then, each is layered in 24 Karat Pure Gold and encapsulated in a crystal-clear acrylic case to protect it. Each coin was minted for only 10 short weeks, with each dye immediately destroyed and the issue closed forever.
Since there is only one year left until all 10 years are finished, the opportunity to own all 50 Statehood Quarters is going to become increasingly difficult. We have a limited amount of these collections set aside to sell on a first-come, first-served basis.”
